Countless mess ups in just 3 month. All by who ever is behind the desk. I phoned 7 days ago for a prescription and was told it would be done 3 days later, no sign of it nothing was logged on the computer. Phone this morning to be told the systems are now down and no doctors are in today and theres only her behind the desk. I explain that my son now has no meds and cant go the full weekend with out them ( if people could go without meds they wouldnt be on them!) I try explaining im desprate and need help.... all whilst she is not listening and repeatedly saying right right right right in a lesser tone! Ive had to contact pals today as its not the first time this has happened. Funny how once i complain theres all of a sudden doctors in the building, 3 "ladies" behind the desk and a prescription ready for me to collect. Please note my complaint is not against who looks after my child, just those you have to deal with on the phone. They need patiance, understanding and give us a little time to explain our selves before they rush us of the phone. We clearly need help or we wouldnt have camhs in the first place! Stop making mistakes and talking to us like rubbish! Stop telling us theres nothing you can do when you can as soon as a complaint has gone in. If i was to neglect my child, if i only gave him his meds when i felt like it and let him willy nilly miss 4 days now and then i would be in serious trouble possibly get social services. Why isnt it serious when camhs staff do it?? Ive had this kind of trouble for 5 years. 5 whole years and you still cant get things right, and still speak to me on the phone like i am less than you.shame on camhs for keeping such staff.
