We are all too quick to give negative feedback and complain, praise often goes unsaid. I had my son at CGH in 2016, things didn't go to plan however the staff were amazing, they were quick to spot things not going the way they should, kept me informed which enabled me to make my chouices. My son was born and need resusitation and went to SCBU which was all scary but again I was kept informed and was well cared for. He was soon back with me on the ward and they kept a close eye on him, spotting early signs of jaundice, helping with breastfeeding and general day to day help.
The care they gave was outstanding. I then had my daughter in 2018 and again the care was second to none. The friendliness, calmness and overall care i received was amazing. We hear the NHS is failing but the staff at CGH maternity team are showing no signs of this, certainly not when it mattered. They work extremly hard to give women the best care possible and they certainly achieved this with me. I felt supported during my pregnancy, labour and postnatally. Thank you for all you, you do an amazing job.
"Fantastic service"
