"Ward 26"

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital / Maternity care

Currently on ward 26 expecting my first baby and I have to say certain members of the midwifery team one being the shift leader we’re extremely rude disrespectful and uncaring about how I felt. To top it all off I experienced numerous occasions where by I was left for hours at a time after them saying they would check on me in a few minutes, any questions I asked about my procedure we’re looked down upon . The admission to hospital was last minute and gave me great anxiety on top of the fact it’s my first baby and that I have a medical condition which ment I had to have this sad experience. I’m absolutely appalled at the treatment I’ve received on this ward and would not recommend to my friends or family members.
