"The best of what her profession should be"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

Good communication between departments. Good communication from the staff. Advise on what would happen next. Simle explanation of all results. Felt I was an important customer. Felt secure. The time held in the ward after discharge held up the use of the bed for the next customer. Could have sat in the family room as I waited for prescriptions.

The nurse on duty day shift ward 3E CVA-XH 324 (Stroke Ward) was kind caring and attentive ready to listen and advise she is the best of what her profession should be.

Dear wellfield,

Thank you for providing your feedback in relation to your admission in Ward 3E. At what must have been a worrying time it is great to read you were provided with explanation of plan of care. It is also lovely to read you found the nurse to be kind and caring.

We are aware that the time waiting for medication can be long. These delays can result from both ward and pharmacy delays. I am sorry you had such a long time to wait for your medication. We will ensure we continue to look at any ways to reduce the delays and value your feedback.

The staff will be delighted to read your comments in relation to your care in 3E. I hope you are now feeling better.

Best Wishes,

Christine
