Hi

As soon as your story was posted, I called the site duty manager at Lincoln for an update on the situation. We are currently experiencing unprecedented demand within our A&E department at Lincoln and unfortunately we do not have enough beds for patients to be admitted to. Currently 22 patients are awaiting beds but we only currently have 6 available. As I don’t have your daughters name, I am unable to see if she has already gone to a ward.

I’m so sorry that she’s having a long wait for a bed but please be assured that the staff are working extremely hard to free up beds.

If you are still in the corridor and you are worried about your daughter deteriorating then please find a member of staff immediately.

Regards

sharon
