"I still don't have any answers"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Lincoln County Hospital with serious back, side, and abdominal pain after being assessed on SEAU I was moved to greetwell ward and seen by 5 different Dr's during my time always to be told they don't have a clue but giving me pain killers.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly except one who I have reported to appropriate people. I was discharged from hospital within 5 minutes of being told I could go I told to go to the discharge lounge in a different ward and wait for my papers and medication. I still have slight pain although it is controlled by the pain killers but I still don't have any answers to what caused it what is causing the issue.

Thank you for sharing your story with us. We're sorry that you have not had all of the answers and would suggest you make an urgent appointment with your GP. They will have received your discharge letter and they will be able to talk you through your care and treatment. Hopefully you will have the answers that you need and if that is not the case, the GP will be able to advise/organise further tests and treatments for you.
