"Magical experience"

About: Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I was reassured by the midwifes at the Borders General Hospital on the phone before going in, theykept me calm and gave me advice on how to cope being in labour at home,  with being a first time mum.

I felt calm the whole time during labour as I felt relaxed and plenty knowledge from the midwifes and comfortable to asking questions.

When arriving to the labour ward I was made to feel relaxed once I was checked over and found out I was 6cm dilated. The midwife kept me and my partner relaxed the whole experience, and were brilliant. I can’t thank them enough for the care I was given, both to me and my baby son, during the birth and afterwards. They looked after me brilliant during the magical experience
