I would like to thank all the GPS and staff here for there care and commitment to giving a professional and caring service to myself, my mother and my late father. I have worked within the Nhs for 20 years before I became unwell. I have complexe care needs with both mental and general care needed. I have needed help and advice when looking after my father who was terminally ill with CA from the gp,s who addressed all aspects of the care needed and telling my mother and myself in layman’s terms what was happening and what would be next. He give my mother a lot of reassurance as she is now 84 and alaid her fears and mine too. He passed away peacefully in no pain 11 years ago and I cannot forget the care all the staff gave us. Now the surgery looks after my mother and myself, we honestly find the reception team very polite and caring with very good advice or addressing issues my mother or I may have. I myself was addicted to diazepam after years of taking it for mental health problems and coping day to day. It has taken 10 years to reduce my intake of this medication to a very small amount. They also involved other Doctors in other medical fields in my care and needs. It means so much to me, as I know I am not alone with my problems any more. The surgery gps and staff look after my mothers needs now aswell as my own. Again she finds the Gps and staff all very helpful and caring with her now complexe needs. She is old fashioned and speaks her mind and can at times be be very stubbin. ‘This GPs and staff are so good it’s hard to find the words to say thank you all for your help understand and care you have given and continue too give to so many people in my area.
