"Disgusting."

About: Pontefract General Infirmary / Maternity care

Pontefract and pinderfields midwives are an absolute disgrace. Rang triage with reduced movements. High risk pregnancy with risk of placenta abruption. Olighydramnosis & fetal distress syndrome in previous pregnancies. Rang them with concerns over leaking fluid. Bleeding and reduced movements to be told not to go to the hospital until my blood clots turn into a period type loss.... can understand why people have such an issue with the hospital now.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your recent experience.

I am very disappointed and sorry to read your comments. From what you have described is not something we would want any of our patients to experience and for this I am sincerely sorry.

I will share your comments with the team as the trust aims to continually improve the quality of services we provide and your feedback is key to achieving this.

However, if you would like us to look further into your concerns please contact our PALS team on myh-tr.palsmidyorks@nhs.net.

Thank you again.

Kind regards

Clare Blackburn
