About: Pinderfields General Hospital

What I liked

My mum has been a patient on Ward 31 for 3 weeks the care she received from everyone on the ward was exceptional and they made her first stay in hospital for over 50 years as pleasurable as can be.

Staff were hard working and always busy and would answer any questions asked of them .

What could be improved

The communication family not made aware of the actual treatment received or what the aftercare would be. Seemed to be taken for granted by all professionals that we knew.

We appreciate the positive comments and apologise for the apparent poor communication. We acknowledge entirely the importance of explaining the treatment plan and would advise that the family ask to speak to the ward sister in this regard.
