I visited a patent on the Third floor stroke unit this evening and asked at the ward desk where the patient was. I was given the location by a staff member at the ward desk.
She directed me to the bay which struggled to find. I then asked a nurse who took me to the bay. Without being asked the first lady interrupted and said on a raised voice "Bay one, bay two, Bay three. That's what I told you. Totally unnecessary and entirely rude.
Perhaps you might speak to your staff and find them that it really isn't necessary to speak to visitors rudely.
"Stroke unit visit."
