Following a visit to my GP I was taken to A&E on Friday evening (28th) with a high pulse rate which was a cause for concern.
The care I received from the moment of arrival was exemplary!
Staff were having to deal with an emotional lady when I arrived but this did not detract from the attention and empathy I received by the admissions nurse. I was then taken to the quite busy cardiac unit where the staff were having to deal with patients of varying ages, temperaments, and conditions and yet the atmosphere was calm and efficient. understandably it took time for the doctor on duty to get to me - not that I was ignored or neglected, the nursing staff made sure of that!
Following tests and xrays the doctor explained in the plainest and simplest of terms what my problem was and provided me with the medication and guidance needed.
Overall, by virtue of the care I received, the anxiety I experienced at the time was eased considerably and I congratulate all involved for the excellent treatment given.
"Faultless Treatment!"
