What I liked

My mother is currently a patient in this hospital and I have found the care she is receiving is woefully lacking. I seem to be constantly on the phone checking that things have been done and tests have been done. There appears to be no communication between the staff, her notes are never up to date and a lot of the time things are not even added to her notes. I am very concerned about the standard of nursing and care that is undertaken in this hospital and will be taking my complaint further. I just feel I have had to fight for my mother every step of the way and I feel very sad and worried for people who are vulnerable or have noone else to stand up for them.

What could be improved

Communication between staff and ensuring her medical notes are kept up to date and everything is recorded.
