"Appalling urgent care ANP"

About: Chase Farm Hospital / Accident and emergency

Had to visit the urgent care dept due to dizziness and neck pain.

The reception and triage staff were fine however the advanced nurse practitioner was rude and dismissive.

I waited 2 hours to be seen only to be told ‘well what do you want me to do about it.’

I had neurological symptoms and no assessment was carried out apart from testing whether i can move my neck up/down and to the side.

I wasn’t offered any medication or even advice on how to manage the situation until I explicitly asked for this.

I was made to feel bad for walking through the door and being concerned about my health.

The ANP showed no compassion whatsoever and certainly did not embody any of the so called trust values.

Can you please email me at richardchester@nhs.net so I can look into it.

Kind Regards
