"most pain i have ever felt"

About: Barnsley Hospital / Accident and emergency

i attended my local doctor in immense pain on my right lower side the doctor could not diagnose me and sent for a ambulance the crew on the ambulance were chalk and cheese the lady was polite and the male was very blunt i stated i was in very bad pain and i was hard to sit down he said well i will have to strap you to the roof then i was given gas air and i became unconscious on awaking i was strapped to a trolley he was trying to stick pads on me to do a heart trace but as i was so much in pain i was sweating badly and the tabs would not stick he said the ones on the ankle seam to be reading ok so sod it off we went on arrival i was in a Que i asked if i could stand as the pain was less when stood he said ok let me off the trolley then went in to a room talked to a nurse and said your off the trolley signed over we are going i was taken in to the room and left for approx 15 mins before a nurse came in asked my name and said grab the chair and sit outside the room i did so 20 more mins later i was asked if i had done a urine sample i said no was given a dish and directed to the toilet on return to my chair i nurse said is your name on that i said no she said ok and took it away all this time i was in severe pain and people were staring at me like i was mad 30 mins passed and then a different nurse came took me in to the room and too blood i asked if i could please have some pain release she said she would ask the doctor 5 mins later a different nurse gave me some oromorph i was left again for 60 mins when a porter arrived and said its x ray time he was very polite and off we went on return i was placed back in the corridor 30 mins passes and a doctor took me in to a room and did a scan of my abdomen he said your blocked solid he said he would send a nurse with a suppository to ease the pain she arrived and explained the procedure to me i said i would do the deed i carried out the deed and went back to the room 20 mins later dr came in and said the were letting me go with some powders to ease the blockage another 10 mins and a nurse gave me the powders saying she was sorry but the only ones they had were for children so i would have to take 8 sachets when i got home then 8 a day i did as instructed and spend Friday night in bad pain also all of Saturday was the same my wife got some dulkalax from the chemist at Morrisons i took two 1 hour later i went to the toilet and the did as i should but all day sat i could not go even after 12 of the sachets i feel that to the hospital i was a inconvenience and i understand that there are a lot of people that have worse conditions than i had but a bit of dignity goes a long way and being treated with common curtsy is not a lot to ask
