"Maternity Unit - our 6 day admission"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I recently attended the maternity unit at Crosshouse Hospital for an arranged admission for induction. On arrival I was placed within the In-Patient Ward however, my journey also provided me with the opportunity to experience the labour wards and theatre (emergency c-section). There were many challenges along the way the ensure the safe arrival of my baby girls and despite the demand and capacity issues across each of the three areas staff remained professional, positive and respectful-assuring at all times. Myself and my husband were very impressed by all the staff who helped and supported us during our 6 day admission.
