"Pointless"

About: Royal Liverpool University Dental Hospital

Despite their website stating that they provide "emergency treatment for patients with acute/serious mouth or dental problems" they refused to see my wife. My wife has lost a number of teeth due to an ongoing medical condition which has lowered her vitamin D and calcium levels and left her with a broken leg and confined to a wheelchair. So despite one of her front tooth snapping in half and being in pain and distress the hospital refused to treat on the basis that there were no students, therefore no staff to treat her so no emergency cover as apparently they are "longer funded" for that anyway. Getting a referral to here is near to impossible The website needs updating and having the word "emergency" is pointless and misleading, especially to those who cannot afford the cost of dental treatment anymore, and in pain.
