My wife attended Urology to have stent removed but was unable to have done due to water infection. we were advised to come back and given another appointment in order to have another attempt.
In the meantime our GP would be faxed a prescription for antibiotics to clear water infection and would be received by a given date. Phoned Surgery on this date, nothing yet received at that time. Phoned Broadgreen Urology dept & explained situation then put through to answer machine of departmental sister and between my daughter and I have left approximately 8 messages and to contact us, we have still not heard back & abandoning hope. Considering the excellent care that my wife has received these past few months this is a huge let down and am very disappointed.
