I attended for a new Consultation. The letter sent out told me to attend the Dermatolgy Dept. There were no instruction as to where the building was, There was no member of staff to give direction at the assessment centre, just a map on the desk. My appointment was at 10 am the letter said to arrive 15 mins early. At 10 20 am anurse announced that a Consultant was running three quarters of an hour late. The Consultant on my letter said Locum Consultant Dermatologist. I approached the desk at 10 50am to ask whom I was seeing to be told "probably him" and that there was a 3/4 hour wait. So basically sit down and wait! There was no apology the lady was not friendly and unsuitable for that role.

Then at 11 am it was announced that the clinic was running an hour late. It is now 11 15 am no member of staff has spoken individually to the handful of people still waiting. This would not happen at a Private Hospital. It's just a sloppy service, with no professional air. You are just

meant to accept it. What happened to standards and communication and I do not mean a Nurse

shouting at the top of her voice that the clinic is running late. Someone needs to moniter the

situation it's diabolical.
