What I liked

I would like to thank the consultant, anaesthetist, nurses and everyone involved in my excellent care. The consultant was very approachable yet professional. She was very informative about my operation and my outcome was better than I ever expected. The anaesthetist put me at ease and for the first time in my life I did not vomit after an operation. Her cocktail of drugs worked as she promised and because I was not vomiting or in pain I was allowed to go home the same day. Every nurse that I came into contact with was friendly, polite and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for any of them.

Barnsley Hospital was my hospital of choice and I am grateful for everything that they have done for me. Thank goodness for the N.H.S.
