"Impossible to get an appointment even with..."

It is almost impossible to obtain an appointment in this surgery.

Even with online access. Can some look into this issue. Some of the reception staff can be a bit rude with their responses when asked questions.

Thank you for your comments on NHS Choices.

We are very sorry to hear that you were not happy with our services recently.

We are very sorry for the long waiting time for the pre-bookable appointments with our doctors. To accommodate our present situation, our practice made the following changes to our appointments booking system: please note that we have increased 'book on the day' appointments available every morning from 8am in response to feedback received from our patients, indicating that this was more preferable and convenient. To try and ease the pressure we are also collaborating with other surgeries in Barnet and offer extended opening hours at the weekend and on Monday to Friday evenings. Patients, who have an urgent problem and feel that they should be seen on the same day but have not been able to secure an appointment at our practice or one of our affiliated practices in Barnet, are offered telephone triage on the same day. If the problem cannot be resolved over the phone, the doctor can arrange for patient to be seen at the surgery as an 'extra' if required.

There is also Online Access available to all our patients, where patients can book or cancel their appointments online. Online appointments are available to book within 1-3 days and on the same day from 8am at the moment. Please speak to our reception team if you would like further information.
