"Experience as an outpatient at North Devon district hospital"

About: North Devon District Hospital

(as the patient),

I have to go to North Devon regularly, and they have been very good to me over the years. I usually visit outpatients, area A. I have a very positive opinion of them all, and the nurses are always very pleasant. The only problem is the waiting times. Recently, I had to wait for an hour to be seen. I don’t mind that, but we weren’t kept informed, or told why there was a delay. However, the last time I was there, there was a slight delay and they kept us well informed. It was less busy that time, so I guess when it’s busy, it’s hard to keep patients updated. I supposed I’d just say that you feel like you’re treated in a more human way if they keep you informed about the wait.
