Over the last 12 months I have had to visit the A and E department at Bolton 6 times for a condition called pancreatitis each time on arrival I was treated with dignity ,respect and friendliness. As this has become a condition that I am aware of I now know the symptoms which are incredibly painful so I’m able to advise when I’m there what I have, none the less the doctors still go through a further examination of me providing me with pain relief and further examinations EG X rays, I’m always offered drinks and checked on regularly . I have asked if I’m wasting their time by attending and they always reply no I must always attend as the condition can quickly become very dangerous. Once they have located a bed a bed a bed for me I’m admitted to a ward . I have visited the A and E at all times of day and night st a times received a 5 star service. Where I live I could easily got Salford Royal or Wigan but will always got Bolton for rapid and good quality care.
"Excellent service provided always"
