What I liked

My son visited the paediatric allergy service and they were fantastic. All of the staff were friendly and the consultant was very thorough. You can see how much time and effort has gone into making the unit a welcoming one.

After our appointment my son had to go for his first blood test which you can imagine was quite worrying for him. I didn't get the phlebotomists name but could you pass on my thanks to the team as she was very understanding, made him feel at ease and took her time (despite having a full waiting room!) and as a result he left that day feeling very proud of himself.

What could be improved

Our original choose and book letter said the wait was 14 days when it was actually 17 weeks! However I appreciate it is a much used service and it wasn't an urgent referral.
