I spent four and a half hours in Dr Grays hospital yesterday, pre-op assessment, x-Ray, scan and then saw the anaesthetist. Everyone I dealt with couldn’t have been nicer, receptionist, nurses and anaesthetist. Can’t praise the staff enough, one pre-op nurse went and made me a coffee before I went over to green zone for X-ray etc. She even recognised that I would need a handle so popped the polystyrene cup into a staff mug for me. (I have severely deformed hands due to Rheumatoid Arthritis)
We are sometimes too quick to criticise but slow to praise, so thank you to the staff I dealt with yesterday, keep up the good work.
(All went well, just waiting for a date for the surgery now )
