As part of my scheduled colonoscopy at Wishaw General Hospital, I was contacted by Sandra who carried out my pre-assessment. Sandra had obviously taken the time to acquaint herself with my medical history and consequently was able to provide me with advice and guidance which was particularly relevant to my present state of health. This ensured that I was fully prepared for this procedure. Sandra was ably assisted by Margaret (who obtained a blood specimen) and both presented to me as being  supportive and caring nurses, demonstrating a person centred approach which should, I believe be commended.
