What I liked
The ward sister was nice.
What could be improved
The HCA's need to have more respect for the patients. I was actually intimidated by one of the HCA on the ward. Post Op patients need more help with personal hygiene needs. Post op analgesia was a bit of a lottery. I was discharged far too early despite my protests. Noone listened to me and as a result I spent 5 very uncomfortable days at home. My wound came open and I ended up back in hospital. There was a general lack of respect shown by doctors towards patients, from junior doctors upwards.
Anything else?
I would never go back to this hospital as an in patient.
"Frightening and intimidating."
