What I liked

I liked the efficiency and care of the doctors and nurses who looked after me, from the time I went in till being discharged I was treated with dignity and care, I was informed of, and consulted about what was happening to me. I consider the service to be second to none, and the fact I am able to lead a normal life now is partly due to that cate.

What could be improved

The food was atrocious and charges for the TV system are very high and easy to use, once you switch the TV or radio on the time starts counting down even if you then turn it off.

I am pleased that the care you received was good, especially with respect to dignity and involving and informing you about your care; at United Lincolnshire we have been focusing on the importance of communication with patients and involving them in decisions about their care and I was pleased to see that you highlighted this.

I am really sorry you didn’t like the food; it can be difficult as you can imagine with peoples varied likes and dislikes. With regards to the bedside TV system I have passed your comments to Hospedia, the company who provide the service for us and I will feedback to you when I have had a response from them.

Thank you for leaving us your feedback; I know this response is a little late but your experience is still important to us. I am sorry you didnt like the food; not unsurprisingly we do get a lot of different views but importantly for patients if they dont like or are unable to eat their meals it is best to let the staff know so we can provide an alternative - nutrition is a very important part of recovery. Thank you again.
