I was called by a man (Chris) and invited me to take up a cancellation the following day. Kind and friendly manner. Arrived early at waiting room 2. Very busy. Invited by nurse to have some details taken and weight/height and BP.
Very respectful and courteous. Saw the Doctor who was a very friendly chap and most methodical. Felt reassured and informed.
Went to pathology to have some blood taken.
In the room were 30 people waiting. The air conditioning was not working and it was stuffy with no open windows. The staff were professional and everyone was apologised too for the delay. Finally it was my turn and a friendly woman, who firstly apologised for the wait, sat me down. Very professional with a minimum of fuss. Very helpful enquiring was I allergic to needles/plasters.
I felt cared for and respected despite that the team were under pressure with lots more patients waiting.
