What I liked
I was taken in very quickly for knee surgery and a little apprehensive. Everyone was extremely professional and very reassuring. My experience from beginning to end was actually really quite pleasant. Everything was explained.....in triplicate!! When I went to theatre a lovely lady chatted and laughed with me and when I came round there she was again talking to me until they came to take me back to the ward. Thank you and I hope all goes well for you. Even though I had never met my surgeon I was awake immediately afterwards and felt great, the cup of tea was fantastic. Waited on hand and foot, never allowed to be in pain and every question answered. Even the food was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. I'm lucky I haven't been in hospital for 35 years but if this is the new NHS I would have no worries about going back. I'm home now and recovering faster than I dared even hope. I'm 57 now and I hope my knee procedure is going to allow me to back to the ice skating I love. 2 days after my procedure I don't need crutches and can walk up and down stairs almost like a normal person. Thank you Ward 15 and everyone who took care of me. I had a lovely time!
What could be improved
In my opinion and for my personal treatment....nothing. Everything was perfect for me.
"Just Brilliant couldn't have wished for better."
