"The fantastic Care Plan from Beckenham Beacon"

BECKENHAM BEACON COMMUNITY TEAM

I had a hip replacement and had some complications after. Therefore I had the District Nurses and Rapid Response Care. I had the most wonderful care and commitment from the District Nurses and from the Rapid Response Team. They were all, Kate, Jodie, Gemma and, Zakiyah.  Bonnie ( Bonnie also was here when I was very poorly and she had to liaise on the telephone with some difficult people trying to get me the care that I needed. It was thanks to her commitment (and all the other district nurses that came) that I had so much, kindness, respect , professionalism and the best of care.

I didn’t realise what a vital job they played in getting people back to work and the outstanding way they care for all their patients, treating them with so much respect and you feel part of a Community again, with their cheerfulness and you don’t feel so isolated. I cannot thank this team enough, they made a situation where I was so poorly and weak and despondent into making me feel human again. They are in the background working so hard in the community and you would only realise the vital role they play if you were lucky and fortunate enough to have them come in and look after you. They are a truly dedicated team and nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you to everyone at the
