"Some doctors should learn how to talk to the..."

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Rheumatology

I have been suffering with chronic lower back pain for sometimes. Even after many tests, doctors don't know the real cause of my pain. They say it's 'wear and tear' and my lower body muscles are weak so I need to do lots of exercises.

I have visited physiotherapist as well and I still follow their instructions and try to do exercises but can't feel better. I also have so many problems but those problems are not considered as problems according to doctors and others. Why? Because those are my problems.

The main reason of writing this review here is that I got worst experience today at Leicester Royal Infirmary Rheumatology department clinic 4. That doctor told me what I was told by other doctors: "Do lots of exercises... and so on..." I am used to it. But that lady doctor told me extra that still hurts me a lot.

She said: "why you are walking like that? This can't get you SYMPATHY from anyone. This is not disability...!"

Why did she tell me like that? I even don't consider myself disabled. I feel tiredness in my legs while walking, I walk and stand but sitting is painful. Also, I am not trying to get sympathy. Her words are still hurting me. I just wanted their help so I can become a fit person what I was before. If doctors are not able to diagnose the real cause of pain it doesn't mean that person should not feel any pain. Humans can't be intelligent as they believe they are. They don't have cure for every disease.

So please I urge you (NHS doctors) don't hurt those patients, who are already disturbed by their illness, with your sharp words.

Now I decided never ask for any help from anyone because my self-respect is more than any help.

No one can help you on this earth. Everyone comes alone and goes alone. You must have to endure the pain until your last breath. This is the law.
