I went to Glastonbury MIU for an ECG on the advice of a 111 out of a hours doctor. On the way there noticed I was coming out in hives. This got worse and when I mentioned to the nursing assistant my lips had gone numb the Emergency Nurse on duty took me straight into resus, I went into anaphylactic shock they treated me stabilised me and got the ambulance there very quickly who blue lighted me straight to the resus unit at Yeovil. I would never had recognised what was happening and their prompt action probably saved my life.
"Excellent response when in Anaphylactic shock"
