What I liked

I was kept informed of what was happening in the day surgery unit so even though I was there from 07.30 till 1pm and should have been 1st on the list I did understand why I was put to the end of the list.

What could be improved

Nowhere on the letter I had with my day surgery appt was there anything to tell me where I would find the unit ie near the shop! There are not many signs to it once in the hospital. I had to phone to ask.

My notes from the pre op assessment had not been received by the day surgery unit.
