My husband was sent to Cramlington hospital from Wansbeck,

At Wansbeck we booked in, saw triage and were sent across to Cramlington. Upon arrival we waiting in a queue to book in with the receptionist, Thats when i thought... Why does a £95 million facility have 1 person to book in all the patients? yet at Wansbeck there was 2 people on the desk and its a less busy hospital. God forbid my husbands chest pain became worse. After waiting 15-20 minutes to even speak to the receptionist we sat down and then was called by a nurse and shortly after saw a DR who was fab they made me feel at ease (did not catch a name!) and from there my husband admitted to ward 10.

I am sorry to read that your husband has been unwell recently with chest pain, I hope he is now on the mend since his stay on ward 10?

Thank you for bringing your comments about our reception staff at both sites to our attention. I will share your feedback with our reception managers at both sites to ensure we learn all we can from your experience. Thank you for taking the time to share it with us.

I will also endeavour to share your review with the Dr who made you feel so at ease in our A&E department as well as our team on Ward 10.
