"Care of my husband"

About: Long term neurological conditions and allied services / Neurological enablement service (NES)

(as a carer),

The Neuro enablement service became involved with my husband when he was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma brain tumour. The team, especially Rachel the physiotherapist. Have been amazing in their support of both my husband and myself. I felt that I could contact them for support and advice at any time. Rachel always seemed to know before I did what help my husband needed next which enabled him to stay at home in comfort until the end of his life. Nothing seemed too much trouble and Rachel gave me the confidence to cope with any situation that arose. She was sympathetic and supportive always

I cannot thank the service enough

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such positive feedback on the work of the team and in particular to recognise Rachel’s work with you and your husband.

I will ensure that your feedback is shared so that we can continue to learn about the facets of our service that people value.
