"A very positive impression of the hospital."

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Cardiology

(as a service user),

Over the past 2 years I have had 4 visits to the Cardiology Dept. at Hairmyers Hospital. As a NHS worker it is stressful being on the other side of care and before the first visit I had not been in the hospital. The reception area is very quiet and calm - not like other hospitals I have been to. The areas that I have seen are very clean and well maintained.

The staff in Cardiology are very friendly, and helpful. They are calm and take time to make sure you have all the information you need. Overall my visits have given me a very positive impression of the hospital.

It is very stressful being on the other side of care and easy to pick up on the negative aspects so your feedback is welcomed.

It is reassuring to hear that the environment was clean, reception calm and staff friendly and helpful. I will ensure your observations are passed onto the staff.
