About: Berwick Infirmary / Maternity care

(as a service user),

We have had a wonderful experience at Berwick Maternity Unit. The entire midwifery team were friendly, professional and had our best interests at heart. I was so pleased to be able to have my daughter at the unit. The birthing suite was lovely, the atmosphere relaxed and we felt really looked after - a total contrast to when our first child was born! We were home 3 hours after the birth and the recovery and post-partum care has been great.

It's such a shame that more families don't choose Berwick or are unable to fit the criteria to give birth here as I'd highly recommend them to anyone :-)
