Was a patient here for the 10 years I lived in the city centre.
Plus points are that you can almost always get an appointment within a week, often sooner; the telephone consultation service is great; and the surgery is OK inside.
However, I'd say for 90% of my appointments, I saw a locum doctor.
Always someone different, often very young/recently qualified and never feeling like I was getting the best care or treatment.
I'm allergic to certain antibiotics and had to explain the effects of the allergies every time as the doctor never knew my history. I don't think I actually ever saw the same doctor twice so you never build a relationship and the doctor never knows you.
The two appointments in ten years I had with actual partner doctors were excellent so maybe just make sure to request them when booking an appointment so you get the best care and some consistency.
"Always an appointment available... But almost..."
