I tried an e consult on a Sunday evening as I wasn't sure if I needed to see a GP or if they could help me with advice on the phone or by email, or perhaps send me for a blood test. On Monday morning I has a call from the surgery asking I come in to see a Dr.

It was a very easy way of making sure I got the right advise. Athough in the end I did need to see a Dr I was reassured that the he knew it was important I would see him quite quickly. When I did have my appointment the Dr knew what my issue was so it was a relatively quick consultation.

I would recommend e consults & would use it for advice again if I was unsure whether I really needed to see the Dr or not.
