"Bone marrow test"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Clinical haematology

(as the patient),

I had a great nurse carrying out the test and she was very reassuring and talked me through everything I felt no pain during the procedure apart from a bit of pressure towards the end the procedure lasted about 10 minutes the longest part was waiting for the anaesthetic to kick in

Dear JaF19,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such positive feedback following your recent bone marrow test. I am delighted to hear that the nurse undertaking the proceedure took the time to explain the test and what was involved. It is also good to hear that the overall proceedure incurred no pain and that you were reasurred from the outset.

I will ensure I pass this on, as I know the nurse carrying out the bone marrow proceedure will be delighted to hear such postive feedback and will also appreciate you taking the time to give feeback on your experience.

Thank you once again and would like to wish you well in the rest of your care.

Warmest Regards

Lynn
