"Surgery and treatment"

About: Royal Derby Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

After being told

I would be given partial knee surgery, I was very pleased as the pain was becoming unbearable, but, after surgery and supposedly the problem being cured was not good, it now needs further surgery to rectify what I would have thought should have been done in the first place.

However,, having said that I could not fault the services at the hospital in the areas I was in contact with, both as an outpatient, and an inpatient. Having said that, one of the problems being discharged was the ridiculous time it took after being told you were on your way home to the actual being allowed out of the hospital, this can in some cases take all day.
