I was admitted to Chesterman Suite during September 2018 with a stenosed aortic valve and requiring a double bypass.
From admission to discharge I was treated with dignity and respect. I cannot praise highly enough all of the cardiology staff that I was treated by or cared for, whether by consultant or cleaner.
My wife - a senior sister - has expressed her admiration for the professionalism, high standards and treatment they gave me in ICU - High praise indeed.
The staff give such demanding treatment and remain positive all of the time.
I must praise the theater staff on the way that they approach their job.
I succumbed to the anesthetic laughing and relaxed at the jokes and conversation we were having and I am sure it aided in my rapid pain free recovery.
But - awful water.
"Only the best is good enough."
