"Physiotherapy"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Shoulder injury after RTC affecting mobility and sporting activities I could participate in. Rhona, gave me exercises and Iain and Lyndsey carried out a injection using ultrasound. The shoulder now has full movement, something that has been lacking for past 18 months. Also the pain has almost completely resided.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Mrsbobbybear,

Wow, what a difference that must make to you. Unless you have had a shoulder problem, most folk probably don't have an understanding how restricting and debilitating this can be.

Thank you for taking time to share this with us on Care Opinion, I will be happy to pass this to the team and it will make their day I am sure.

Best wishes for your onward recovery,

Eunice
