"Blood Testing"

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

Blood test this morning at QE11 hospital. I have to attend regularly and every time I do I am treated as an unwelcome visitor by Reception. I arrived at 11.30am, according to the website the clinic closes at 12.00, the Receptionist announced to the few (3 or 4) patients handing in their sheets ‘last minute dot com!’.

So rude and unnecessary. Are the NHS so short staffed that a Receptionist with some level of empathy and customer service cannot be found?
