We have just had our third child at Queen's and I must admit all three were very different experiences. Our first one was premature at 32 weeks but delivered normally. Second was in the labour ward, delivered normally and third was at the birthing centre. For a hospital that has seen funds slashed, budgets cut, the sheer determination on midwives and nurses to deliver an excellent service has never failed They do all this with utmost dignity and care. I know many professions, including my own, who have nowhere near the same satisfaction or success as these wonderful angles and yet we get paid grotesquely more. The hospital has certainly addressed most of the issues that plagued it a few years ago. It's a brilliant hospital with great doctors. Dont be discouraged by the minor few whom will.never be satisfied with anything in life. Supporting our local hospitals and providing regular, constructive feedback, will only ever improve services. Good luck
"Great care, underrated hospital."
