"Drs are great - reception staff unbelievably bad"

I have been a patient for many years, and have really stuck it out, despite terrible service. I’ve now reached the point where I am looking at other GP surgeries. The reception staff, apart from one lady, are unbelievably unhelpful, rude, and lack knowledge about their own appointment systems etc. They have told me I just cannot have an appointment, without even trying to find a solution, or finding out what type of appointment and when I need it. They have snapped at me when they’ve made a mistake. They’ve told me ultrasound results haven’t been available when they have. I have tried to make appointments for smear tests and not been able to, and now have symptoms that look very concerning, and am worried I may have missed diagnosis of anything from endometriosis go cervical cancer because of their incompetence. The practice manager hasn’t responded to my complaints. I will be raising this with the lead doctor and the PCT, as this cannot be allowed to continue. People’s health is in this staff’s hands at times, and their mistakes will be costly if they haven’t been already.
