"Extremely long waiting times and cancelled..."

I specifically didn't want CBT as I tried it before and it doesn't work for me. I was told I would be able to explore other options with a therapist. After several weeks of waiting for my first appointment I was told that CBT had been decided as the best option for me.

I tried one session unsuccessfully and was eventually offered a different therapy/therapist.

After another long wait I had one more session and my therapy was 'discontinued'

I don't really know what I expected from Outlook, they only seem to offer short periods of CBT. If that's not for you then it's a waste of time. I don't feel I was involved in any of the decisions made.

I waited weeks and weeks for (and between) appointments, there were cancellations for 'staff sickness'.

I also completed an Asperger's assessment form but the waiting list for my follow-up was 15 months and the website says now it's 18 months! So overall in my case a very very very long frustrating process with no conclusion.
