"My experience"

About: The Three Zero Six Medical Centre

I had been suffering from a gynaecological problem, causing chronic pain. I had been to A&E several times and really was struggling surviving on co-codamol and having to have time off work. A particular doctor I saw in this practice really made me feel like they thought I was being a hypochondriac, gave no sympathy and always seemed impatient when I visited them. Instead of referring me straight to gynaecology, they sent me for a general scan, which I had to wait several months for, after the scan, I had to be referred to gynaecology which was a further three months, they did the same scan that I had before and this would have cut my waiting time in half if I had have been taken seriously and sent there in the first place. I had to wait a further few months for surgery, which meant all in all I've been waiting a long time. An extra three months in pain is a long time to wait and was affecting my work and mental health, surviving on painkillers.

There is a couple of doctors in the surgery that are great, but you have to wait several weeks to see them, if you need to see a doctor sooner, you get this one doctor, who always seems to be free... Thankfully I've moved out of the area and am with a different doctor!
