"Thank goodness for this surgery..."

We moved to Penryn in March 2018 from Truro, and the obvious choice for a new GP might have been more local, but there was such good recommendation for Trescobeas, we chose to register there and both husband and I are very pleased we did. All the staff, without exception are approachable, pleasant and professional. The service is exemplary, with a simple and effective system of appointments: ring on the day from 8am for an urgent app't, speak with a GP later in the day, they then make a physical app't if necessary. It is also possible to book ahead for a telephone app't with a chosen doctor (no idea what a previous reviewer was on about!) which is great for less urgent problems or routine discussions. Test results are back quickly - even here in Cornwall! - And by aiming to keep a patient with the same doctor for one complaint, or chronic problems, continuity is great. The only reason not to recommend Trescobeas is that I wouldn't want them to be overrun with new patients!
